Last Night in Ethiopia

Tonight is our last night in Arba Minch and tomorrow we start the long trek home. While I looked over the city, the woods, and the country, I can’t help but think about the changes I’ve seen in me while I was here. I’ve become a little more patient, a little kinder, a little less selfish and a lot more loving. It’s crazy to think how 20 hours of plane rides, 10 hours of driving and 12+ miles of walking have given me the opportunity to realize who I want to be, how I want to be perceived and how I want to love on people. And the answer to all of these is – a lot more like Jesus.
